A magnificent, terracotta Grade II listed building, the hotel has a history dating back to 1890, when it first opened as The Refuge Assurance Company headquarters. Offering 17 meeting rooms for events up to 1000 guests, Principal Manchester provides Edwardian surroundings enhanced to accommodate modern business requirements.
Set within the former home of the Manchester Stock Exchange this stunning example of Edwardian Baroque architecture, with its original marble, brass and woodwork, has been carefully restored to breathe new life into one of the city’s most historically symbolic institutions.
