VisionEvents Manchester are now looking to expand with the following positions:

Sales Executive - Full Time

We are looking for a pro-active Sales Executive to support our Sales Director. The ideal candidates should have a strong telesales background and be confident in building, managing and maintaining their own sales pipeline. Responsible for generating and winning new business we are looking for a seasoned sales professional looking to take on a new challenge at one of Manchester's leading event production companies.

Your Duties

  • Self generate new leads

  • Winning new business

  • ‪Build, manage and maintain a sales pipeline

  • ‪Increase exposure of VE-M

  • Work to targets and deadlines

 

 

Essential Required Skills

  • A minimum of 3 years’ previous experience in a sales role.

  • Excellent communication skills

  • General IT knowledge (MS Office, Outlook ect.)

  • ‪A good positive and happy attitude as well as a team player

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to problem solve and to work to deadlines

  • Flexibility and a can do attitude

  • ‪Ability to work under pressure

  • ‪Ability to work independently

  • Driving would be beneficial but not essential.

Working Hours

Standard working hours would be 08.00 till 17.00 or 09.00 till 18.00, Monday to Friday.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £18,000.00 to £22,000.00 /year

 

 

Audio Visual Technician - Full Time

We are looking for an AV Technician to support our venues and work along side the live events team. The ideal candidates should have great technical experience with a skill base across all aspects of Audio Visual equipment. The right candidate should be ambitious and is able to use own initiative to solve problems and learn about new technology. We are currently looking to take on an AV Technician on a full time contract

 

Your Duties

  • Ensuring day to day running of the warehouse

  • Preparing & Checking & Loading equipment

  • ‪Delivering and Setting-up AV Equipment, Operating and /or working on Live Events

  • ‪De-rigging and checking equipment back into the warehouse

 

 

Essential Required Skills

  • A minimum of 2 years’ previous experience in the AV, sound and lighting industry

  • Excellent communication skills

  • General IT knowledge (PowerPoint, Keynote and Playback Pro knowledge would be helpful but not essential)

  • ‪A good positive and happy attitude as well as a team player

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to problem solve and to work to deadlines

  • Flexibility and a can do attitude

  • ‪Ability to work long hours on events when required

  • ‪Ability to work under pressure and to resolve issues diplomatically and calmly

  • ‪You must have the capability to carry and lift AV equipment and staging from vans to venues

  • Full UK Driving Licence is essential

 

 

Working Hours

Standard working hours would be 08.00 till 17.00 or 09.00 till 18.00, Monday to Friday however due to the nature of the role and industry we require our team to be flexible with working hours, this includes early starts/late finishes and working weekends

Salary: £18000 - £19000 Experience Dependant 

Audio Visual Technicians - Casual

We are looking for an AV Technician to support our venues and work along side the live events team. The right candidate should be ambitious and is able to use own initiative to solve problems and learn about new technology. We are currently looking to take on an a number of casual AV Technicians to assist with weekend, evening and weekday work when necessary. 

 

Your Duties

  • Preparing & Checking & Loading equipment

  • ‪De-rigging and checking equipment back into the warehouse

  • Hold or being working towards a relevant qualification.

  • Excellent communication skills

  • General IT knowledge (PowerPoint, Keynote and Playback Pro knowledge would be helpful but not essential)

  • ‪A good positive and happy attitude as well as a team player

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to problem solve and to work to deadlines

  • Flexibility and a can do attitude

  • ‪Ability to work long hours on events when required

  • ‪Ability to work under pressure and to resolve issues diplomatically and calmly

  • ‪You must have the capability to carry and lift AV equipment and staging from vans to venues

 

Job Types: Casual

 

Salary: Age Dependant NMW
